Headaches and motion sickness with XR glasses
Headaches usually come from
- Eyes fusing mismatched images (alignment, color, focus).
- Wrong prescription or dial setting.
- Too much brightness in a dark room.
- Nose and temple pressure.
Motion sickness usually comes from
- Head-tracked screens that drift or lag (see gyro drift).
- Low or uneven frame rates.
- Anchored modes in a moving vehicle; use a fixed screen there.
- Strong 3D or depth effects (see depth too strong).
Routine
Start with 15–20 minute sessions, fix alignment first, keep frame rates steady and take breaks.

FAQ
Head tracking in a car?
No; sensors can't separate car motion from head motion.
Will I get used to it?
