Gyro drift and recentering
Glasses estimate head rotation with a gyroscope. Small errors add up, so an anchored screen slowly slides away: drift.
Reduce drift
- Leave the glasses still for a few seconds after plugging in.
- Don't use anchored modes in vehicles.
- Keep firmware current where offered.
- Drift can be worse in the first minutes.
Recenter
In Complete VR Studio press Ctrl+Alt+R to recenter the workspace whenever it wanders.
If drift makes you queasy, use a fixed screen. See motion sickness.

Complete VR Studio is a Windows 10 (version 19041 or newer) and Windows 11 x64 app, currently at version 1.0.0-preview.10. Premium features are included in a 7-day trial from install, and basic viewing keeps working until day 90.
