Watching SBS 3D movies on XREAL Air 2 Pro
The Air 2 Pro shares the Air 2 display and adds electrochromic dimming with three levels (0%, 35% and 100%). That's handy for movies: full dimming blocks the room so 3D looks more solid.
Switch the glasses into 3D
XREAL's support pages say a 2-second long-press of the "+" button toggles 2D/3D on the Air 2 Pro. In 3D mode Windows sees a 3840×1080 display and each eye gets one half. 3D mode runs at up to 90 Hz.
Play the movie full screen
Use a player that can show a half-SBS or full-SBS file full screen, filling exactly the 3840×1080 desktop. A window that isn't full screen splits the wrong way. More in watching 3D SBS movies.
Dimming and comfort
Use 100% dimming for movies; drop to 35% if you need to see a drink or keyboard. If 3D hurts, check alignment in double vision.
