VITURE Pro eye strain and the myopia dials

Applies to VITURE Pro XR on Windows 10/11. Not validated in Complete VR Studio. Not medical advice.

The VITURE Pro has built-in myopia adjustment (0 to −5.0D per published spec comparisons) and about 1,000 nits brightness per VITURE. The dials are convenient, but a dial set slightly wrong is a common cause of tired eyes.

Honest note: RayNeo Air 3 is the only model fully tested with Complete VR Studio. The VITURE Pro uses a manual profile that has not been validated yet, so treat app-specific steps as experimental. The general steps work with any software.

Set the dials properly

  1. Show a page of small text.
  2. Close your left eye and turn the right dial until text is sharpest, then back off to the first sharp point.
  3. Repeat for the left eye.
  4. Re-check each time; dials can move in a bag.

The dials correct nearsightedness only. Astigmatism still needs a prescription insert.

Then brightness and matching

Lower brightness in dark rooms and make sure both eyes look the same color and height. See VITURE color calibration.
