Reducing latency with XR glasses on a PC
- Connect directly, not through docks or wireless streaming, when possible.
- Highest stable refresh: 120 Hz halves frame time vs 60 Hz.
- One processing layer. Each app that captures and redraws the screen adds latency; don't stack them.
- Full screen on the glasses.
- Cap FPS slightly below refresh for smooth pacing.
- Glasses game mode if available.
Any capture-and-redraw tool, Complete VR Studio included, adds some processing. For competitive play, keep only the adjustments you need.
Trial, price and how to get it
