120 Hz not available for XR glasses on Windows

Applies to 120 Hz-capable glasses on Windows 10/11.

  1. Model support: many models do 120 Hz in 2D (e.g. XREAL Air 2, RayNeo Air 2s/3s, Rokid Max). 3D is often lower; XREAL lists 90 Hz in 3D for the Air 2.
  2. Select it: Settings › System › Display › Advanced display › Choose a refresh rate.
  3. Use Extend, not Duplicate.
  4. Game mode: some glasses need it (RayNeo lists a 120 Hz Game Mode on the Air 3s).
  5. Docks/adapters may cap bandwidth; connect directly to test.
  6. Update GPU drivers.
