Fixing blurry edges on the Rokid Max and Max 2
Rokid says the Max and Max 2 have identical displays: 50° FOV, up to 600 nits, 1920×1080 per eye by default and 1920×1200 when supported, with 0–600 degree (0 to −6.00D) myopia adjustment.
Honest note: RayNeo Air 3 is the only model fully tested with Complete VR Studio. Rokid Max uses a manual profile that has not been validated yet, so treat app-specific steps as experimental. The general steps work with any software.
Steps
- Set each dial separately on small text, one eye closed.
- Resolution: Rokid notes edge blur isn't a resolution issue, but non-native modes blur everything. Use 1080p, or 1200p if offered.
- Fit: the Max 2 adds an air nose pad and softer temple ends; try positions until edges are even.
- Keep UI away from corners, or shrink slightly with per-eye stretch.
